KanaWatch (“the app”) is designed with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what information is collected and how it’s used.
Learning progress. Your kana mastery progress, practice history, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple’s standard storage (UserDefaults). This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.
Purchase information. If you purchase KanaWatch Pro (Full Access), we use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to process and validate your purchase through Apple’s App Store. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier (not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID) along with your purchase transaction history, solely to confirm your entitlement to unlocked content. KanaWatch does not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. The app does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. Voice pronunciation is generated entirely on your device using Apple’s built-in text-to-speech (AVSpeechSynthesizer) and is never sent anywhere.
KanaWatch does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
